BAKERSFIELD— Deputy District Attorney Cindy Zimmer announced that she has secured the endorsement of former Assemblywoman Shannon Grove in her campaign for Kern County District Attorney.
Zimmer, a 30 year veteran of the Kern County District Attorney’s office, has experience prosecuting in every trial court in the County. She has led the DA’s Gang Unit for the last ten years and has prosecuted some of Kern’s worst offenders.
While thanking Zimmer for her decades of public service, Grove stated, “Cynthia Zimmer has fought to seek justice for victims and will continue to work with law enforcement in order to effectively protect the people of Kern County.”
Zimmer has earned the support of a variety of officials like Ridgecrest Mayor Peggy Breeden, Taft Mayor David Noerr, Tehachapi Mayor Ed Grimes, Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh and former Bakersfield Mayor Harvey Hall.
When she is not serving the people of Kern County as Supervising Deputy District Attorney, Cindy teaches at Taft College and serves the community through her work in Westchester Kiwanis.
A graduate of California State University Bakersfield, Cindy Zimmer is running to be the next District Attorney of Kern County.
